Winton: Cake Stall at Winton Open Day

We have some interesting news and photos to share with you today. If you want to know what the Voice for Life members or supporters get up during the weekends - this is one of them.  It was a great success and encouragement to those who will be again working at the Waimumu Field Day next February.

Winton Voice for Life decided to participate at Winton Open Day. It was a wonderful sunny day - and lots of people were out to enjoy the fine weather.The VFL stall had the most wonderful array of homemade cakes and biscuits - the hardest workers were Louise Tosh, David and Liz Tosh,  Marie Horgan, John and Eileen Pottinger and Christine Kinlay. Many of the other branch members brought plates along on the day - and the sum raised was $966! An absolutely wonderful team effort.
