Unborn Remembrance Day Timaru
Join us at 1pm on Saturday the 19th of June as we gather to mark New Zealand’s hidden death toll at the annual Unborn Remembrance Day.
Peaceful vigils will be held outside abortion facilities, in unison, all around NZ as a witness to the tragic loss of 13,236 lives aborted in 2020. We will observe a minute’s silence and crosses will be laid in memory of every unborn child whose life was ended by abortion over the past year.
In South Canterbury alone, 54 unborn children were aborted at Timaru Hospital. This is a new and tragic development. We will stand outside Timaru Hospital to remember these 54 victims of abortion.
This might be the last year we can legally gather at the very gates of where our Nation's sons and daughters are violently killed if Louisa Wall’s so-called ‘safe areas’ Bill is passed by Parliament. A peaceful pro-life vigil may soon become a criminal act in NZ, and so we must stand while we still can.
Meet us on Queen Street, corner of the Botanical Gardens near the Cenotaph.
Please do not bring any signage to this event. Crosses will be provided. Just bring yourself, your family and your friends.
