Unborn Remembrance Day Nelson
Join us at 1pm on Saturday the 19th of June as we gather to mark New Zealand’s hidden death toll at the annual Unborn Remembrance Day.
Peaceful vigils will be held outside abortion facilities, in unison, all around NZ as a witness to the tragic loss of 13,236 lives aborted in 2020. We will observe a minute’s silence and crosses will be laid in memory of every unborn child whose life was ended by abortion over the past year.
In Nelson alone, 225 unborn children were aborted at Nelson Hospital. This is a decrease of 42 abortion deaths in our community since the previous year, 2019. We will stand outside Nelson Hospital to remember these 225 victims of abortion.
*UPDATE: New event added for Blenheim outside Wairau Hospital to grieve the 103 lives aborted there*
This might be the last year we can legally gather at the very gates of where our Nation's sons and daughters are violently killed if Louisa Wall’s so-called ‘safe areas’ Bill is passed by Parliament. A peaceful pro-life vigil may soon become a criminal act in NZ, and so we must stand while we still can.
Meet us at the Broads Fields, Tipahi Street, Nelson. Opposite the Nelson Hospital main entrance.
Please do not bring any signage to this event. Crosses will be provided. Just bring yourself, your family and your friends.
