Unborn Remembrance Day Taranaki

Join us at 1pm on Saturday the 29th of October as we gather to mark New Zealand’s hidden death toll at the annual Unborn Remembrance Day.

17 peaceful vigils will be held outside abortion facilities, in unison, all around NZ as a witness to the tragic loss of thousands of lives that were aborted in 2021. We will observe a minute’s silence and crosses will be laid in memory of every unborn child whose life was ended by abortion over the past year in your region. Closer to the vigil we will inform you of the exact death toll for your region last year.

We will stand outside Taranaki Base Hospital to remember the victims of abortion. This might be the last time we can legally gather outside of the facilities where our Nation's sons and daughters have their lives violently ended. NZ abortion facilites can now apply for a 150m exclusion zone, meaning that peaceful pro-life vigils within that zone will be considered a criminal act in NZ. We must stand while we still can!

Meet us on the footpath. If an exclusion zone is granted before the vigil we will advise you of the new meeting spot.

Please do not bring any signage to this event. Crosses will be provided. Just bring yourself, your family and your friends.
