The ACTIV8 Pro-Life Internship is an intensive one week event which offers in-depth formation in pro-life ethics, philosophy and apologetics, as well as important practical skills such as leadership training, social media skills, project management, strategic planning, and media training.
It is a national event open to anyone aged 18 – 35 years.
If you’re looking for a more in-depth formation event that also offers training in important practical skills such as leadership, media and project management, as well as the opportunity to discuss issues in greater detail, and to meet and build friendships with other young people from all over New Zealand who share your same desire to build the culture of life in NZ, then the ACTIV8 Pro-Life Internship is definitely for you!

What is the ACTIV8?
ACTIV8 was launched in New Zealand in 2009 when Dave Smithson and BJ Whittaker, supported by other members of the Smithson family and the Kapiti branch of Voice for Life, took the initiative to plan and run the very first ‘Stayin’ Alive’ (as it was known back then) training day in Kapiti, just north of Wellington. This would go on to give rise to the ACTIV8 Pro-Life Internship – an annual one week formation event that provides in-depth and practical formation and training for young leaders who are passionate about building the culture of life and being a voice for the unborn and their mothers in New Zealand.
In 2015 this important training and formation ministry moved under the governance and leadership of the team at Focus on the Family NZ.
